What is Wind Business?

Pay your employees and contractors, and move funds for your company. The possibilities are limitless.

Step 1:

You can sign up for a Wind Business account with your business credentials (email and company name) if you are a business willing to pay salaries, contractors or move internal funds.

Or,

If you are an individual user with employees to pay, you can also sign up for an individual account with your name being the company name. But please note, you must have documents that prove your employment of others.

Please note: The Wind business dashboard is built for businesses. If you need something to use on a personal level. Download the Wind app. It's built just for you.

Step 2:

Once the sign-up is complete, please start the verification (KYB) to unlock the full capabilities of your business dashboard.

Without KYB, you can only transact using crypto.

Once the verification is complete, which may take up to 7 days based on your company, please wait in this timeline, and if you have queries about your KYB, email [email protected]

Step 3: Post KYB verification and Add fund

Currently, Wind supports USD add funds using ACH/FedWire.

Please note a few things about "Add Funds":

  1. The USD Virtual account is an 'on-request' feature and does not rely on the KYB status of your account.

  2. Being verified does not mean getting access to a USD Virtual account.

  3. You may be denied from getting a virtual account even after being verified from Wind dashboard. This is due to compliance barriers we have.

But, if you do get a virtual account, you can use that to USD via ACH/FedWire and your account will be automatically credited with the equivalent USDC minus our fees.

You also have the option to Add Fund using Manual ACH/FedWire using reference codes generated against each order. Once an order is created and you have push the funds to pooled bank account you see above.

There are a few drawbacks to this method and the success rate drops if you are using a few specified banks.

We always suggest virtual accounts at all time for the ease of use.

Step 4: Adding Recipients

You can add:

  • Wind Wallet accounts

  • Bank or E-wallet

  • External Wallets (Polygon)

  • Add via CSV, only Wind Wallets and external polygon wallets.

Adding Wind Wallet and External Wallet it is very straight forward.

Adding Banks or E-wallets and the required fields depend on the country. Make sure you are filling up accordingly.

Step 5: Sending Funds

Sending funds to Wind wallet and External wallets is very straight forward:

Sending funds to Bank or E-wallet is similar as well. If you hover over the arrow icon on the top right, you can see the fx rate you are getting.

Step 6: Checking History and Status

All the history is available on the history tab and clicking on each individual send fund.

You can explore more yourself. But that is the gist of the whole dashboard.

Feel free to use the in-app chat or simply email [email protected]
